Center graduate employment

The graduates’ employment center operates on the basis of the Banking University. Its aim is to help graduates in finding job in financial institutions, organizations and enterprises of different forms of ownership. The main activities of the Employment Center of the Banking University are:

* search of information about vacancies, arrangement of the interviews with employers, advice on activities and requirements of the employing companies;

* providing information about opportunities of temporary employment during training period, summer and winter vocations and part-time employment to graduates;

* organization of job fairs and presentations of financial institutions;

* conferences, seminars, psychological testing, recording and analysis of training interviews with employers, providing professional literature on self-management;

* assistance in finding facilities for in-service and pre-diploma practice for students, preparation of informational materials, posting information concerning vacancies and recruitment programs among students at the University and Institutes sites;

* holding questionnaires and surveys among employers and graduates concerning the quality of training at the University, requirements for specialists and professional achievements;

* spread of information about the University and Institutes events;

* engagement of potential employers in the jury of professional skills contest and round tables;

* consulting students on forming a personal portfolio, job search techniques and passing interviews;

* arrangement of primary interviews with candidates, ensuring graduates direct contact with employers;

* organization of public events, career days (either on the Institutes base or in banks), presentations of the employers, seminars and training courses concerning the professional career building;

* participation in appropriate exhibitions;

* the graduates’ career monitoring by means of maintaining a graduates’ jobs and positions database.

A graduates’ employment databank is created at the Banking University. The students’ employment database functions at the faculties of the institutes. Job offers for graduates come from banks, insurance companies, accounting firms, enterprises, institutions and organizations of various fields. The dean’s office staff is responsible for the data relevance; they put information about the students’ employment into the database.
